Q: Do you need a motorcycle license to drive a scooter on the island, or will an automobile license be enough? Also, what are the laws regarding around scooters in Dominica ie. insurance the scooter/helmets/etc

A: A current automobile license is fine, though you will need to buy a local permit for US$12.00 and have insurance. There is a law that requires a hemlet.
