Did this hike December 26, 2009 (Boxing Day). Perhaps the most interesting and diverse a hike as can be imagined in about 7 miles. It was strenuous, but not as bad as Mt. Gimie on St.Lucia.

We trekked to Boiling Lake today in the rain, but what a trip! It was so worth it. We recommend hiking poles- they were so helpful going up and especially down when your legs are shaking and take your time. Some steps are missing and there have been mudslides on various parts of the trail. Also, the trail into the Valley of Desolation has disappeared at some points due to mud slides so be very careful, stay hydrated and enjoy! We had a blast!

I visited the Boiling lake in may , 2008 with my beautiful wife Nineka who is from the island. It Was a first for me. I fell in love again. the journey was the most fun i've ever had and seeing the lake with my own two eyes is a treasure more valuable than gold. can't wait to do it again.

I hiked to the Boiling Lake in October 2008. It was a long way, but it was beautiful and breath taking. I must say the route is very well maintained, and that helped a lot. I am so glad I was able to achieve that goal, which i had set for myself when I was much younger. This is a perfect example of NATURE at work in the wild. Happy hiking everyone.

My wife & I hiked to the Lake in the late '90s. It remains one of my most vivid and wonderful memories of awe inspiring sites.
