The annual report on Dominica’s sea turtles has just been released. It talks about the challenges – poaching still goes on, but not on the scale it used to be done – and generally it shows how communities, Government and the ROTSI project can work together successfully to achieve some very important goals:
“Dominica will surely stand as a model of what can be accomplished for the benefit of both people and endangered sea turtles as it continues to build its expertise and renew its commitment to conservation initiatives that have broad social and economic value.”
