Charles Warner Trail
An easy trail includes a crossing of the Pagua River and leading to two great little pools which are ideal for swimming.
DID YOU KNOW?
Charles Warner was a British planter from Antigua who purchased many properties around Dominica in the late 1700's. He was a relation of 'Carib' Warner who was a Kalinago Chief who was killed by his half brother in 1674.
The community of Warner located on the west coast, was Thomas Warner's main estate and still carries his name. Some of his other properties included one in the parish of St. David where this trail exists. His name is also given to a tributary of the Pagua river which is crossed at the beginning of this hike. Accessed from the main road, the trailhead is on the right passed Sisserou falls, before reaching the community of Concord (on the way to Marigot)
