Dominica’s Coach Jerome Romain had the honour of carrying the Dominica Flag at the head the country’s Olympic Team delegation for the Opening Ceremonies in Beijing last month.
With the smallest team in the Olympics, Dominica had only two athletes registered for the Games: Lloyd and Hurtault. They ran in the preliminaries of the sprints (one in the 200-meter race and one in the 400-meter race) but neither made it beyond the first round of qualifying heats, missing by just one place.
