The central African country formerly known as Zaire, now Democratic Republic of Congo, is the home of the world renowned beat called SOUKOUS. Soukous is characterized as having a rhythmic base, a driving bass and is laced with lightening fast guitar licks.
With a strong french influence, it is widely enjoyed in many villages of Dominica.
