Several Cruise Lines call in to Dominica. The busiest time of year is from mid-November to mid-April.

There are three Cruise Ship Berths in Dominica: the Bayfront in Roseau, the capital;
Deep Water Harbour, Woodbridge Bay - just 5 minutes north of Roseau; and The
Cabrits
in Portsmouth - about an hour's drive north of Roseau.

At then end of the Cruise Ship berth:

Near the Roseau River at the northern end of town:

  • Fruit and Vegetable Market Saturday, closed Sunday), Post Office

On the outskirts of Roseau:

  • Botanic Gardens and Parrot Research Center
  • The Morne - beautiful scenic views of Roseau. Climb the path through the Botanic Gardens (takes 20 minutes) or take a Bus Tour.
